These will NOT be covered under the standard warranty or returnable. The one-piece construction also makes for a rugged design that can handle the hardest of uses.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eThe finish used is Cerakote's HIR gen 2 coating, which conforms to the MIL-DTL-44436 NIR reflectivity standards. Using Cerakote negates one of the traditional weaknesses of anodized aluminum, which is its shiny appearance under night vision devices.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eThe JAS-M also uses commonly available M5 nuts and socket cap screws. The mount itself is not threaded, reducing the likelihood of it failing catastrophically.
