The GAL V3 is a DIY IR aiming and illumination device designed by Knack Tactical using mostly off-the-shelf parts. While many parts are designed to be easily printed on hobbyist machines, we wanted to make a higher-strength parts kit available to the public.

Our parts kit is manufactured through Multi Jet Fusion. It uses Nylon PA12 to provide a product that enhances the look and feel while being more durable. We also pre-install the threaded inserts, including the one inside the main body that requires a difficult angle and is easy to screw up. The threads for the machined crane port are also inspected to ensure that they are within spec and that the end user can easily install the part.

There is also an optional black screw add-on, which provides a black finish screw set that replaces the original silver ones from Knack Tactical.

While there's still some effort needed by the end user, this part kit takes some of the work out of the equation, making the assembly process easier and more consistent.
